Avenel, NJ - August 1, 2005 -- Industrial Instrumentation Services, Inc., (IIS) announced today that they have been accepted into the Partlow-West Authorized Service Provider Program. Partlow-West (www.partlow.com) was founded in 1920 by Howard Partlow, Sr. The company's first instrument automatically controlled the temperature of molten metal in hot-lead typesetting machines. With the development of the filled-system sensor, Partlow’s market base expanded quickly to cover a wide range of electro-mechanical instrumentation. The ruggedness and reliability of Partlow filled-system instruments is world renowned. Today, the Partlow-West Company, a part of the Danaher Corporation (www.danaher.com) , produces Partlow, West, LFE, and Rustrak brand products.
"This is a natural fit after a 20 year working relationship," said William H. Ball, President of IIS. IIS (www.iisinc.biz) was incorporated in 1985, after the purchase of E.J. Chance Associates, Inc., a process control calibration company established in 1965. The main customer base for IIS in the mid 1980’s was the heat-treating and chemical industries. In the late 1980's the advent of the microprocessor revolutionized all process industries. Today, the pharmaceutical industry represents over 70% of IIS' current customer base. IIS is celebrating their 20th anniversary.
